The cost estimate uses indicative blended averages by product type: approximately £0.25 per pad, £0.60 per pull-up and £0.90 per all-in-one. Use the estimate as a starting point
Continence needs are individual. The result is designed to help you understand what may be appropriate and give you better questions to ask a GP, continence service, carer or care home.
Absorbency isn’t the only consideration. Waist, hip size, mobility and product design can all affect performance.
A product that worked previously may no longer be suitable if mobility, health or continence changes.
Keep a 3-day continence diary
Recording accidents, toileting, drinks, bowel movements and product changes over several days can reveal patterns that aren’t obvious from memory alone.
